When Brandon and I set out to make this list, we thought it would be easy; not so my friends. But here's our compiled list of the top 25 comedies of the last 25 years (I made a list, he made a list, we averaged the numbers and here's what we came up with):

  1. did you ever think of doing subcatergories? It seems like some of these could be considered "dramedies" though I hate that term.

  2. yes, brand-o and i thought about having a couple of different categories, but we decided to keep it simple and used a broad definition: if it made us laugh repeatedly, then we classified it as a comedy.

  4. i wanted Hot Fuzz on the list instead of Shaun o' the Dead, but Brand-0 had SotD so high on his list that i couldn't bump it off.

  5. "High Fidelity" Great movie, difficult to see it as a comedy, that's drama baby, drama.

  6. Is it coincidental that dumb and dumber would be at the top of possibly the worst list of comedies i have ever seen? Perhaps it reflects upon its creators.
